Financial Independence Project 2006

Vision: To establish a permanent source of Income for the Islamic Center of Tucson to meet it’s basic needs. This will allow for future donations to be directed to Da’awa and Charity Programs.

Need: Currently, the ICT spends $8,000+ a month for its “basic” needs.  The community is rapidly growing and will be in need for more funds to meet additional expectations.

Plan: Develop ICT owned property (1627 E. 1^st Street) into eight (2 bedroom, 2½ bathroom) rental units.  This will enable ICT to generate approximately $6K a month in rental income.
